Accessibility statement

We want every couple to be able to use this site, and we keep working at it. This statement describes where accessibility stands today — what has been done, and what has not.

It is accurate as of the date above and will be updated as we improve.

The standard we work to

We aim for Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations.

What has been done

These have actually been checked:

  • Colour contrast: the text over the photograph on the home page was measured against the 4.5:1 requirement for body text and 3:1 for large headings, and adjusted until it met them.
  • Full Hebrew and right-to-left support, including a declared language and direction on every page.
  • Semantic HTML — ordered headings, marked navigation and content regions, and labels tied to their form fields.
  • Keyboard navigation: the interface is built from ordinary links and buttons, with no custom widgets that trap the keyboard.
  • Decorative images are marked as such so screen readers skip them.

What has not been checked yet

A full accessibility audit by a certified accessibility professional has not yet been carried out, and we have not completed screen reader testing. Parts of the site may therefore not fully meet the standard.
